BATH STREET DENTAL SURGERY APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

It is the aim of this practice to provide quality dental care to our patients on schedule and to use clinical time effectively. To achieve this aim we have an appointment cancellation policy

If you fail to attend a pre booked NHS appointment on more than one occasion or cancel late within 48 hours we will have no alternative than to remove you from our NHS list

You will have the option to continue your oral health care with Bath Street Dental Surgery on an Independent basis and charged our independent fees. These fees can be found at reception. Late cancellation of or failure to attend a pre booked Independent appointment will result in a charge of £30.

Although we understand that things happen and schedules do change we ask that you provide us with at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes. Missed appointments prevent us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from our services. We schedule individual time with each patient to allow us to deliver the quality, personal care that every patient deserves

We offer a reminder call service 48 hours prior to your appointment. If you do not wish to receive a reminder call from our reception team please let one of them know.

It is our aim to telephone or write to patients after a missed appointment to understand the reason for non – attendance and to inform them about our decision about their NHS dental Care.
